In order to prevent head injuries, it is very important for skiers and snowboarders to always wear a fitting helmet, no matter the age or performance level. Ski helmets offer a recess to allow wearing skiing goggles. But where to put those when the weather conditions permit changing to, e.g., sunglasses? Usually, the skiing goggles are moved upwards and placed on top of the helmet’s edge.
To me, as a ski instructor with 20 years of experience, this is an obvious decrease in safety.
On the one hand, this narrows down the field of vision, and on the other hand, this puts the skiing goggles at high risk of slipping out of position (due to, e.g., headwind or vibrations) into the neck area, where they dangle uncontrollably. This is both annoying and a safety hazard, especially when it is attempted to put the goggles back into their place while moving. From my own observations, this is particularly problematic for children, as they are easily distracted by this, causing collisions and other issues.
It was for these reasons that I set out to find a solution to this problem and mitigate these risks.

The Gogglestop
It keeps the skiing goggles securely in place on top of the helmet and makes slipping impossible, no matter if you are skiing, waiting at the lift, or carrying the helmet on your arm. With it, there is nothing stopping you from enjoying an unburdened day on the ski slopes. The increased safety, but also its stylish look, make the Gogglestop an absolute must-have for any snow sport enthusiast.
Function
With its unique function, the Gogglestop has a special form that keeps the skiing goggles securely in its place and makes slipping impossible. The Gogglestop is attached to the helmet with a magnetic strip (included in the box), which the customer applies himself. By turning sideways to the left or right, the Gogglestop can be easily placed or detached. Further instructions for attaching the Gogglestop to the helmet can be found in the videos.
Form
The Gogglestop has a form similar to a fin. Its aerodynamic shape gives a stylish look, while simultaneously increasing safety. Due to its design, it can be attached to every helmet, no matter the size. Thus, it can be used by every skier and snowboarder, no matter the age. The Gogglestop is very light, making it barely noticeable during use.

Funktion
In seiner Funktion unschlagbar, hält der Gogglestop durch seine besondere Form die Schibrille an Ort und Stelle und macht ein Verrutschen der Brille somit gar unmöglich Gehalten wird er durch einen Magnetstreifen (im Lieferumfang enthalten), welchen der Kunde selbstständig am Helm anbringt. Durch eine drehende Seitwärtsbewegung nach rechts oder links, lässt sich der Gogglestop problemlos platzieren oder vom Helm lösen.

Form
Der Gogglestop ähnelt in seiner Form der einer Finne. Seine Aerodynamik verleiht ihm ein stylisches Aussehen, welches mitgleich für hohe Sicherheit sorgt. Er passt sich auf Grund seiner besonderen Bauweise jedem Helm problemlos an, somit ist er für jeden Ski- und Snowboardfahrer einsetzbar, egal welchen Alters.
Auf Grund seines geringen Gewichtes wird er von Schi-und Snowboardfahrern, auf dem Helm aufgebracht, kaum bis gar nicht wahrgenommen.
